**We will not be having a library book exchange on next Wednesday. Mrs. D would like all books returned before the holidays so please send books back next week. We will get a new book after the new year. Home Reading exchange will still happen on Wednesday. Thank you.
- Grade 1 rotation - making Christmas ornaments, working with robots, making cards and problem solving for Santa and his elves
- Our class has become experts with Ozobots and Dash and Dot. Today we taught our grade 3 buddies how to use them!
- Practicing our songs for the concert
- Learning about hibernation
- Learning about snowflakes. Ask me to tell you how snowflakes are formed and what the magic number is for snowflakes! We used markers and water to make some beautiful unique designs.
- Having a guest speaker come and talk to us about Cancer in the classroom (I brought home a keychain that I made this week)
- Decorating paper Gingerbread Men. We read a book called "The Gingerbread Boy". Ask me to tell you about this story and what happens at the beginning, middle and end of the story. We worked hard on making some beautiful creative designs and they are all so unique. We stopped halfway to go to music and were glad that when we got back, they did not run away from us! Next week we will work on writing about our gingerbread people.
