Copperfield School received 65 rainbow trout eggs from the Bow Habitat Station. We are learning all about the stages of life the eggs will develop through, what they need to survive, and very cool rainbow trout facts! (like rainbow trout can have 3000 eggs!)
Ask me to tell you somethings I know about the rainbow trout eggs.
Today we read a story called "Memoirs of a goldfish". It reminded us of the fish tank in the learning commons where the eggs are living! We started our own "memoirs of a rainbow trout" books and are writing from the perspective of the eggs.
Some wrote:
I see bubbles.
I see students.
I hear noises.
I hear kids.
I smell kid's lunches.
Here are some pictures of the tank and the eggs.
